Andrew Hawkins, age 31

Former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Andrew Hawkins announced via Uninterrupted that he was signing with the New England Patriots on Wednesday.

Hawkins went undrafted in 2008 and most recently played with the Cleveland Browns. Last season, he hauled in 33 receptions for 324 yards and three touchdowns. During New England’s Week 5 match-up against the Browns, Hawkins had four catches for 56 yards and a score.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter said the following regarding Hawkins:

Similarly, in 2016, the Patriots signed veteran wide receiver Nate Washington to a one-year deal, however, he did not make the 53-man roster.
