New England Patriots Roster Recap: Tight Ends
James O’Shaughnessy, age 25
Did the Patriots draft James O’Shaughnessy with the 183rd pick? Depends on who you ask.
Technically, no. The Patriots received O’Shaughnessy and a sixth-round pick from the Chiefs for the 183rd pick during last month’s draft weekend.
Kansas City took O’Shaughnessy in the fifth round of the 2015 draft.
In two years with Chiefs, he had eight catches for 86 yards. He finished last season with two catches for -1 yards.
O’Shaughnessy may just serve as a camp arm in New England, however, he could catch on with a good showing throughout camp.
