Jared Odrick, DE (age 29)

Odrick likely wouldn’t be a long-term stay in New England given the youth and upside of the defensive line. Like Knighton and Kuhn last season, signing Odrick would add veteran depth to the defense for training camp.

Injuries kept Odrick off the field for most of 2016, in six games he had nine tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble. During his career, he has two sacks and an interception in nine games against New England.

The Patriots have seven defensive ends on their current roster, including 2017 draft choices Derek Rivers and Deatrich Wise Jr.
