Kai Nacua adds depth to New England’s safety corps along with ball hawk production. Over his four-year career at BYU, Nacua had 165 tackles, 14 interceptions, 12 passes defended, and a forced fumble. At BYU’s pro day, Nacua measured in at 6’1″, 205 pounds. He ran a 4.49-sec forty-yard dash, 39-inch vertical jump, 6.87-sec three-cone drill, and a 10-foot, 7-inch broad jump. The Patriots met with Nacua earlier on in the pre-draft process, according to Mitch Harper of CougarNation.com.

New England’s success is predicated on how well defenses can get to Tom Brady. Nate Solder and Cameron Fleming are both free agents after 2017 and Brad Seaton could take the place of either tackle. Seaton measured in at 6’9, 329 pounds, at Villanova’s pro day. The Patriots had a workout with Seaton in March per Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.

With the draft just days away, it will be interesting to see how the Patriots attack the draft without a pick in the first two rounds.
