5.) @ Denver Broncos Week 10

One of the best wins for the Patriots in 2016 was their Week 15 win against the Denver Broncos. This was certainly a revenge game for the Patriots last season after the Broncos beat them in the AFC Championship Game in 2015. While the Broncos were not the same team that won a title in 2015, it has still been a tough place for the Patriots to play.

One of the reasons why the Patriots have struggled against the Broncos is because Denver does a good job making Tom Brady look human. By no means did Brady have a great game in Denver last season, but the Patriots were helped by an excellent defensive performance. While attempting to get revenge, the Patriots were able to defeat the Broncos by a score of 16-3.

Coming into this season, the Broncos will be trying to rebound from missing the playoffs the year before. They still have an excellent defense, and should get a boost with the return of running back C.J. Anderson. The Broncos clearly missed Anderson’s production on the ground last year, as he was injured early in the season.

The quarterback situation is still a concern for Denver, but either Trevor Semian or Paxton Lynch could get better with another year under their belt. This game will be on Sunday Night Football after the bye week, and the Patriots will hopefully play better than they did against the Seahawks in a familiar situation in 2016.
