7          Zac Robinson     QB       Oklahoma State        Grade: F

Robinson was never going to compete for a starting role, but I think the Patriots hoped he might replace Hoyer as the backup. He was released in his rookie year just before the start of the season. He later signed with the Seahawks, Lions and Bengals often fulfilling the 3rd quarterback position on the roster.

Overall Grade – B+

The 2010 draft was one of the best of recent memory. McCourty, Gronkowski and Spikes in the early rounds, Hernandez and Mesko in the middle and Deaderick at the end were all good pick-ups. There were some busts interspersed in between with Cunningham, Price, Larsen and the three 7th rounders. The top two picks are still with the team and probably will be for their whole careers. Funnily enough, Ted Larsen is the only other player still in the league as he has signed for the Dolphins in 2017.
