Defensive end Myles Garrett has put New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady on notice that he is coming for him.

With the 2017 NFL Combine underway, the New England Patriots are one of 32 teams that are preparing for the NFL Draft. With plenty of great prospects in this year’s class, the Patriots might be able to find some good value when they are on the clock at 32.

One player that will not be on the board when the Patriots are selecting in the first round is Texas A&M defensive end, Myles Garrett.

After a great career at Texas A&M, Garrett has been following that up with a strong showing at the NFL Combine. Prior to the Combine, many believed that Garrett will be without a doubt the first pick in the NFL Draft.

Since the Browns currently hold that pick, Garrett could be finding himself playing in Cleveland next season. When asked what quarterback Garrett would like to sack in the NFL, he wasted little time choosing.

Here’s Garrett’s response via Patriots.com.

"“Tom Brady,” Garrett replied swiftly. Why?“Because I’m a Peyton Manning fan,”"

Garrett’s answer was certainly a good one, as he grew up during the Manning/Brady rivalry. For years the discussion of who was the better quarterback was a hot topic.

One of the reasons why Garett will likely be the first overall pick is because of his ability to get to the quarterback. In three seasons at Texas A&M, Garrett totaled 31 sacks. In two of his three seasons there, he was able to record double-digit sack totals.

Even though Garrett had a lot of success at A&M, performing in the NFL will not come easy. As far as sacking Brady, that will also be a big challenge. The Patriots generally do an excellent job protecting No. 12, but it will be fun to see if Garrett can back up his talk when they face off eventually.
