3. Denver Broncos

The Broncos have been missing a Pro Bowl level tight end since Julius Thomas left town in 2014. They have tried to fill in his role by trading for Vernon Davis, but it hasn’t worked out. They could draft a tight end this year, but they could use some immediate help while a younger guy sits behind him.

Now, why the Broncos?

There’s two big reasons. One, you have an opportunity to play for a high-class organization who is willing to dish out big money. Two, they will have close to $32 million in cap space with no big signings on the horizon.

It could offer the tight end with some stability in ownership and coaching that he has grown to love with the Patriots. With GM John Elway in charge, he would have a stable front office to grow to love, different from the days of Chicago.

One big flaw in Bennett considering the Broncos is their quarterback situation. They have to set up some sort of quarterback stability in order for him to seriously consider them. They would have to make a move for Tony Romo in order for him to come to move west.

Although it’s a long shot, the Broncos seem to have the best chance if they can meet expectations at the games biggest position.
