5. Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta seems like one of the best fits for the ex-Texas A&M star. Having just beat them in the Super Bowl, in a raging comeback for the ages, Martellus may be looking to follow some of the money his win just brought him.

While he also might not be accepting the first offer that arrives at his door, it would be hard to turn down the opportunity to play in this explosive offense.

Strapped with over $28 million in cap space also doesn’t hurt for the Falcons. With only needing to sign one big free agent in Taylor Gabriel, they could use a pass and run blocking tight end of Bennett’s caliber. He also adds the 3rd dimension of being deadly as a pass catching tight end.

He could ultimately pave the way for a scary explosive offense that can somehow improve from last year. With a run-pass block tight end option, the Falcons can improve their already explosive run game. Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman can benefit from this addition greatly with opposing defenses not sure of the offensive game plan.

The thought of pairing him with All-Pro wide receiver Julio Jones is another idea. It would create a mis-match that will keep defensive coordinators awake for weeks.

This would be a dream addition for the Falcons, but one that is up to Martellus to decide on if he even chooses to do so.
