Chuck Pagano is on the hot seat, there is no question about that. After reaching the AFC Championship game during the 2014 season, Pagano has missed the playoffs two straight times. Saddled with one of the most talented young quarterbacks in the league in Andrew Luck, the Colts should be contending under Pagano’s leadership in Luck’s prime. Yet again, insert Josh McDaniels.

While he’s shown that he can groom a young quarterback in a number of seasons, in Jimmy Garoppolo. He’s also shown that he can groom a young quarterback in under a season, in Jacoby Brissett. That should be enough to show Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay that McDaniels can turn the team around, and revitalize Andrew Luck’s career.

With his innate ability as the modern day quarterback whisperer, and being paired with a young stud at WR in T.Y Hilton, McDaniels can create a top 10 offense in the league in Indy. Further moving along the team’s current rebuild, and maximizing Andrew Luck’s star potential.

The idea that coach Pagano hasn’t yet made a serious deep playoff run, and the team is embroiled in controversy, it would be a good change of scenery for Colts fans who haven’t seen real success since Peyton Manning left 5 years ago.
