New England Patriots: Fans Vote on Super Bowl LI MVP
By Nick Ziegler
The New England Patriots are playing the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl 51. Who do the fans think will win the MVP?
With the spread being a close one, many are expecting a good game between the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons. With two of the best offenses in the NFL, there is a lot of talent on that side of the ball.
For the Falcons, they are led by quarterback Matt Ryan and wide receiver Julio Jones. Ryan and Jones both had great seasons for the Falcons, and they are key for their team in the Super Bowl. In the postseason, both have played extremely well, and they will be front-runners to win the MVP if the Falcons win the Super Bowl.
On the Patriots, quarterback Tom Brady is the favorite to win the MVP if the Patriots win the game. This season, Brady was able to have one of the best seasons of his career. After serving his four-game suspension, Brady totaled 28 passing touchdowns and just two interceptions. That resulted in him setting a new NFL record for the best touchdown to interception ratio.
While the big names are always the favorites, surprises do happen in the Super Bowl. It could be an unlikely hero that makes a huge game. On our Twitter account @Musket_Fire, we asked the fans who they thought would win MVP.
Here’s how they voted.
As you can see, fans are predicting that it will be Brady walking away with the honors. It was interesting however to see more votes for the combination of Matt Ryan and Julio Jones. A lot will depend on the winner of the game. However, most believe that it will be Brady winning the Super Bowl MVP. This, of course, means we get to see the awkward encounter between him and Roger Goodell.
