#2 WR Deion Branch, Super Bowl XXXIX: 11 catches 133 YDs

In the game that established the 2000s Patriots as the most recent NFL dynasty, third year receiver Deion Branch continued his postseason assault with one of the greatest wide receiving performances in the game’s history.

Branch tied the Super Bowl record with 11 catches for 139 yards as he sliced the Philadelphia Eagles secondary apart, coming up with clutch catches for the Patriots throughout the game. Branch did not score a touchdown in the game, as he had the year prior in Super Bowl XXXVIII, but he helped New England never have a doubt about the game’s final outcome. Branch won the Super Bowl MVP award, becoming the first receiver since Jerry Rice in 1989 to win the award.
