#3 QB Tom Brady, Super Bowl XXXVIII: 32-48 passing for 354 YDs 3 TDs 1 INT

After Tom Brady was given the monicker of a ‘game manager’ for his ‘dink-and-dunk’ style in Super Bowl XXXVI, Brady let his gunslinger talent show in his second ever title game.

Brady set the then Super Bowl record of 32 completions for 354 yards and 3 TDs in what would turn into a shootout championship game between the Patriots and Carolina Panthers.

As he did in his first Super Bowl two years earlier, Brady also led the Patriots on a game-winning drive in the waining moments of the fourth quarter to set up Adam Vinatieri‘s 41 yard field goal which all but sealed the game with four seconds remaining. Brady had critical completions to Troy Brown (13 yards) and Deion Branch (17 yards, final play before the FG) to set up Vinatieri’s second Super Bowl winning kick in three seasons.
