2.) Atlanta Falcons

Arguably the most impressive win the NFC Divisional Round was the Atlanta Falcons handling of the Seattle Seahawks. With MVP front-runner Matt Ryan, the Falcons’ offense was clicking throughout the game against the Seahawks. Seattle’s passing defense hasn’t been the same since the injury to Earl Thomas, but Ryan and the Falcons made them look like a poor defense at times.

In addition to Ryan and the passing game, the Falcons also have a good rushing attack. Even though it wasn’t on display against the Seahawks on Sunday, they have been very good this season. Both Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman have had a good season, as they are arguably the best running back duo in the NFL. If Julio Jones’ toe is banged up still on Sunday, the Falcons will likely be featuring them more.

The one thing that will continue to be the issue for the Falcons is their defense. They have improved a bit under Dan Quinn this season, but this is still a unit that has struggled. Sunday will be the ultimate test for them. There is no quarterback hotter than Aaron Rodgers in the NFL right now. If the Falcons’ defense is even able to slow him down remotely, they will likely be advancing to the Super Bowl.
