New England Patriots: Ranking Remaining Playoff Teams

3.) Green Bay Packers
The one team that nobody wants to play right now is the Green Bay Packers. As the hottest team in the NFL, the Packers were able to upset the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Divisional Round. In one of the best games in recent playoff history, the Packers were able to defeat the Cowboys with a clutch field goal by Mason Crosby.
While some thought the injury to wide receiver Jordy Nelson would slow down the Packers, there is no slowing down quarterback Aaron Rodgers right now. Even though Rodgers threw an interception against the Cowboys, he still had an amazing game. In the win, Rodgers totaled 356 passing yards and two passing touchdowns.
In crunch time, Rodgers was able to complete a pass to tight end Jared Cook on the sideline to set the Packers up for the game-winner. While scrambling out of the pocket, Rodgers delivered a beautiful throw right on the money to Cook.
Even though the Packers defeated the Cowboys, their defense was certainly exposed by Dallas. With a matchup coming against the high-powered Falcons on Sunday, Rodgers will need to continue to play perfectly. Getting hot at the right time can be all a team needs for a Super Bowl run. Also, having your quarterback playing some of the best football in his entire career is a good thing to win a title.
