The New England Patriots were able to get a huge road win in Denver on Sunday afternoon, and they are now an impressive 7-0 on the road this season.

It has been an excellent 2016 season for the New England Patriots. On Sunday, the Patriots were able to win a big game on the road against the defending Super Bowl Champions. The Broncos are not the same team they were last season, but they are still very good at home.

In a tough game, the Patriots were able to beat the Broncos at their own game. In the 13-3 win, it was a great defensive effort that led to the win. Along with a solid game running the football, the Patriots were able to leave Denver with their seventh road victory of the season.

It wasn’t a classic performance by Brady on Sunday. However, he is extremely proud that his team was able to win their seventh game on the road.

“We’ve overcome a lot of adversity, and we’re 7-0 on the road,” he said during his weekly interview on sports radio WEEI’s “Kirk and Callahan” program via ESPN.com. “I think that speaks to what the team is all about. It’s tough to win a game in the NFL. It’s certainly tough to win games on the road in the NFL. To be 7-0, I’m so proud of that stat. I don’t know how many times we’ve ever done that.”

The Patriots will be playing one more road game in the final week of the season against the Miami Dolphins. Like the Patriots, the Dolphins are hoping to achieve success in the playoffs this season.

“To go 8-0 when we need to beat Miami in a couple weeks, and we have to take care of business against the Jets [at home first], that’s on our radar,” Brady said on WEEI via ESPN. “I know we got on the plane last night, and knowing how we finished last year, with two losses to the Jets and Miami, nobody wants to take their foot off the gas pedal. We want to go hard, and we want to win.

Despite being without Ryan Tannehill, the Dolphins were able to dismantle the New York Jets in Week 15. Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore was able to total four passing touchdowns, and he can’t be taken lightly after a performance like that.

To go the entire season without losing a game on the road would be a great accomplishment for the Patriots. Success on the road could be an indicator that the Patriots are set up for success in the playoffs.
