1. Julian Edelman will have best game of his season so far

Early on in the season, Edelman was a frequently-utilized target by both Jimmy Garoppolo and Jacoby Brissett. He caught seven passes each in Week 1 and Week 2, converting those receptions into 66 and 76 yards respectively.

But in the past four games, Edelman hasn’t caught more than five balls or posted more than 38 receiving yards. As of right now, Edelman is on pace for 75 receptions and 696 yards, which would be career lows for the Kent State product in a 16-game season as starter.

However, those projections are going to uptick after Week 7. With all the attention on Bennett and Gronkowski (deservedly so), Edelman will find himself in desirable one-on-one matchups against Pittsburgh cornerbacks. Brady will get the ball to him right after the snap, and Edelman will do the rest.

Expect a stat line of eight receptions for 110 yards and a score for Edelman in this game as the Patriots cruise to a 38-24 victory.
