Patriots vs. Bills: 5 Bold predictions for Week 4
1. Pats will pitch 2nd half shutout
Yes, the Patriots shut out the Texans last week, so one could argue that this prediction isn’t so bold. But in the NFL, shutting out a team for an entire half is an accomplishment on its own, so here we are, putting this in the bold predictions article.
This game will get out to an even start, with the Bills picking up first downs thanks to Taylor’s legs and keeping the game close. Expect a 14-10 halftime score in favor of the Patriots.
However, after that, it will be all Patriots. Hogan will continue to put on a clinic catching the ball against his former Bills teammates; McCourty will record the pick-six; LeGarrette Blount will add another century of yards to his league-leading total, which currently stands at 293 yards.
So after a hectic first month, the Patriots will find themselves at 4-0 when Tom Brady returns to the team. Watch out, NFL.
