1. Jamie Collins

As a result of a mounting Defensive Player of the Year candidacy, Collins has to be named the top performer after three games.

Collins has been set ablaze, leading the team in combined tackles (23) and interceptions (two). He’s also recorded three passes defended and a sack.

If you’re looking for a Monday morning distraction, take a look at this compilation of Collins’ Week 3 highlights.

At 6-foot-4 and 250 pounds, Collins weighs as much as Blount as is as tall as Brady. He’s long, lanky and powerful. Collins has the ball skills as well, as we’ve seen through these first three games.

It’s getting to the point where we have say that retaining Collins is the top offseason priority over Dont’a Hightower and Malcolm Butler. He’s the best defensive player in the league outside of J.J. Watt.
