Predicting New England Patriots roster, cut day edition
G Joe Thuney – looked like an experienced veteran from the first day of practice; is in good standing to start Week 1.
G Jonathan Cooper – will most likely start against his former Cardinals teammates in Week 1.
G Shaq Mason – a hand injury won’t slow down the Patriots’ best run blocker.
G Josh Kline – here’s one of the few Pats offensive linemen who stayed healthy in 2015. Kline will get the nod to make the final Patriots roster.
6 takeaways from the preseason so far
T Nate Solder – for better or for worse (we’re not sure which), Solder is the franchise left tackle/blind spot protector and will be again in 2016.
T Marcus Cannon – could be considered the weak link out of the starting five at right guard.
T Cameron Fleming – provider of decent depth behind Solder and Cannon but not an ideal starter by any means.
T LaAdrian Waddle – his best days were before the ACL injury, but hopefully the former Detroit Lions tackle has good play left in him. The Pats will count on him at left tackle should Solder get hurt.
C David Andrews – the unquestioned starter after the Bryan Stork series.
