1. Cre’Von LeBlanc vs. Jonathan Jones vs. Darryl Roberts

This trio of horses have made it to the final week of preseason, each proving themselves over veteran E.J. Biggers and undrafted rookie V’Angelo Bentley. The winner will earn the coveted No. 5 cornerback role behind Malcolm Butler, Logan Ryan, Justin Coleman and Cyrus Jones. That will be huge for the victor, regardless of who that proves to be, as none of these players have stepped foot in a meaningful NFL game before.

The Patriots clearly like LeBlanc, as they gave him 59 snaps last Friday night; the Florida Atlantic made the play of the preseason with his one-handed interception in his own end zone agianst the New Orleans Saints. Jones is appealing because of his speed and blanketing coverage, and Roberts is certainly in the mix after sitting out his rookie season due to a preseason wrist injury.
