As we enter the fourth week of New England Patriots preseason, the final Patriots depth chart is coming into focus.

Here is an updated Patriots depth chart prediction to begin your Monday, starting with the quarterbacks:

1. Jimmy Garoppolo

2. Jacoby Brissett

Although he wasn’t all that impressive against the Carolina Panthers last week, Garoppolo is in the driver’s seat as Week 1 fast approaches. This may still be Tom Brady’s team, but Garoppolo will be the leader on the field come September. Four games is enough of a sample size to help the Patriots envision the Brady-less future that will eventually become reality.

Meanwhile, Brissett completed all nine passes he threw on Friday night, pacing Patriots quarterbacks with 85 yards and a touchdown. There certainly have been rookie moments for Brissett this preseason, but the North Carolina State product deserves credit for stepping into an intense environment against the Panthers and maintaining his cool.
