A standout of training camp last year, Harper is again in contention for a roster spot. He’s fighting for the fifth and likely last slot behind Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, Chris Hogan and Malcolm Mitchell.

17. Keshawn Martin

Like Harper, Martin is shooting for that No. 5 job. He differentiates himself from the crowded by the fact that he was a regular contributor in 2015 while filling in for Edelman and Amendola.

Until the Patriots actually cut ties with Dobson, we’ll never really know how much they value the Marshall product. But the fact remains that the 6-foot-3 pass catcher is the Patriots’ tallest man at the position, and that could be the difference for Dobson.
