Center (1): David Andrews

Guard (5): Shaq Mason, Tre’ Jackson, Joe Thuney, Josh Kline, Ted Karras

Tackle (4): Nate Solder, Sebastian Vollmer, Marcus Cannon, LaAdrian Waddle

Practice squad: Cameron Fleming

Cut: Chris Barker, Jon Halapio, Kyler Kerbyson, Keavon Milton

Given Bryan Stork’s persisting concussion issues and Jonathan Cooper’s early injury, this looks to be the group the Patriots will carry into Week 1. Thuney has been the story of the offensive line thus far in training camp, handling 355-pound defensive tackle Knighton in one-on-ones and asserting himself as the most consistent guard to date. Fellow rookie Karras has also been a surprise, and he is within reach of a roster spot.

Bill Belichick bounce back crucial in 2016

Hopefully, Jackson is ready for the opener so he can provide depth behind likely starters Thuney and Mason. One can’t forget about Kline, either; he was one of the best offensive linemen for the Patriots in an injury-ravaged 2015 season in the trenches.

Here’s to hoping that Solder and Vollmer stay healthy all year, because the Patriots’ depth at tackle is probably the thinnest out of all positions on the roster.
