Not that this game is irrelevant, but with the Patriots being able to lock up the first seed in the AFC, they can afford to rest players – which means it’s Jimmy G time.

Last season the final game of the Patriots season was also in Miami, but they elected not to rest players, which could have ultimately backfired had Brady got injured.

Resting important starters during the final week not only gives players time to heal before a divisional match, but it gives them two weeks to have two gameplans set for whichever team wins the wildcard game.

47. Final. 21. 59. 14

2016 Season Record: 12-4
