For the first time since 2008, the Los Angeles Rams make their appearance at Gillette Stadium. This is another one of those games that could possibly be over early.

The Rams did draft QB Jared Goff, and indeed have one of the best up and coming running backs in Todd Gurley, but this team is still far away from contending. Jeff Fisher‘s team has far away from contending for years now, despite having six 1st-round picks the since 2012 (three of them being in the top 10).

Here are there records the past 4 seasons:

2012: 7-8-1

2013: 7-9

2014: 6-10

2015: 7-9

2016: ???

It’s amazing that Fisher is still employed.

However, one thing the Rams must be recognized for is having one of the best defensive lines in the league for the past few seasons.

This game will also feature two former Patriots: LB Akeem Ayers (2014, traded from the Tennessee Titans and left in free agency) and DL Dominique Easley (2014-15, released in the offseason).
