New England Patriots 2016 Season Prediction
Week 11 – New England Patriots at San Francisco 49ers *CBS 4:25pm EST*
For the first time in his career, Tom Brady will get the opportunity to play in his hometown, but not for the team he grew up loving.
This will also be the second time the Patriots play a Chip Kelly-coached team. Not too many expected the Philadelphia Eagles to beat the Patriots last season, especially in Foxboro.
This could also be one of those trap games that no one expects the Patriots to lose, however, they would literally have to throw this game away to lose this one.
The San Fransisco 49ers may have finished 5-11 in 2015, but they may be worse than they look. This team has declined ever since the end of the 2014 season, losing HC Jim Harbaugh and losing players (free agency, retirement) as well.
Whether it’s QBs Colin Kaepernick or Blaine Gabbert that is the starting QB of this team after the halfway mark, they will have a long day facing the Patriots defense. Especially considering the 49ers have no real threats aside from WR Torrey Smith. This game could easily be over by the third quarter.
Record: 8-2
