2. John Kuhn gets another year.

An injury to fullback Austin Johnson motivated the Saints to sign Kuhn, who publicly lobbied for another year in the NFL after the Green Bay Packers cut the veteran loose this offseason. This will mark the third consecutive year in which Kuhn plays under a one-year contract; the past two years haven’t been too shabby, as Kuhn made the Pro Bowl in 2014 and 2015.

Speaking of fullbacks, the Patriots have James Develin and Joey Iosefa contending for the power back/fullback role in the offense. It’s not guaranteed that either will make the team, but we know that both will not be suiting up in Week 1.
