Veteran wide receiver Nate Washington was considered a sneaky good under-the-radar signing at wide receiver this offseason. At six-foot-one and 185 pounds the speedster has the size and straight line speed to line-up outside at wide receiver and push for playing time. His time in Houston with Bill O’Brien last year was looked upon as another advantage for Washington in his quest to catch-on and steal a roster spot.

Here is something remarkable about the career of Tom Brady

Then the  32-year-old wide receiver got the attention of all the spectators and media on hand when he vomited on the field in the opening practice of camp and has not been seen on the practice field since. Washington has been doing conditioning on the side and one has to wonder if the veteran is being used as an example to show up in shape by head coach Bill Belichick to the other 89 players.

Washington needs to get on the field ASAP and the pressure is on him to make some big plays in joint practices with New Orleans and star in the preseason games to have a chance to stick in New England.
