5 former teammates Tom Brady might throw with during suspension
1. David Givens
Years played with Patriots: 2002-2005
Stats with Patriots: 158, 2,214 yards 12 touchdowns
Yes, that David Givens. You younger Patriots fans might not remember this guy, and even some of you older Pats fans may not remember Givens. But the guy was a MACHINE in the 2003 and 2004 seasons. Starting in the 2003 AFC Championship Game, Givens caught a touchdown in eight consecutive playoff games (tie for an NFL record), including in Super Bowls XXXVIII and XXXIX. In fact, Givens held the record for Patriots postseason touchdown receptions until last year, when Rob Gronkowski matched him.

But Givens tanked after signing a 5-year, $24 million deal with the Tennessee Titans in 2006, falling out of the league in 2007. Clearly, his best days were as a member of the Patriots. Look, this writer doesn’t know what kind of shape Givens is in nine years after his last NFL appearance, but he would be a familiar face for Brady to at least play some catch with and talk about the glory days of 2003-2004.
