1. Jimmy Garoppolo vs. Jacoby Brissett

While the smart money is on Garoppolo winning the Week 1 starting job, this will still be a very intense Patriots training camp battle. That is because Garoppolo and Brissett are not fighting merely for the starting rights against the Cardinals, but rather for the future of the Patriots’ starting quarterback position.

What if Jimmy G pulls a Tommy B?

Garoppolo has two years of experience in the Patriots’ system working in his favor, which should go a long way toward winning this battle over the long-term. That being said, we have yet to see what Brissett is capable of in the pros; we know from his college days that Brissett has a heck of arm. He is also mobile and pretty accurate throwing on the run.

It will be a blast to see how this one plays out.
