1. Real football

Whistles piercing the air. Coaches shouting. Speakers simulating fan noise blaring. And last but not least, Brady screaming himself hoarse at a rookie wideout not knowing where to be on a certain play. These are the sounds of Patriots training camp, and they are awfully great to hear after a long offseason.

So there you have it. If you are looking for reasons to be excited for the beginning of training camp, you’ve got them now: Brady at work, fierce competition between Garoppolo and Brissett, Edelman and Butler battles, Gronk and Bennett getting accustomed to playing with each other, rookies, and just the fact that this is real football.
