There is light at the end of the long, NFL offseason tunnel. This week, the New England Patriots begin the road to Super Bowl 51 with the start of training camp. Here are six reasons why you should walk with a bit more pep in your step this Monday.

6. We get to see Tom Brady work.

Perhaps the biggest bummer stemming from the Deflategate chaos is the simple truth that we won’t see the best quarterback in the history of the sport play. And mind you, that quarterback isn’t getting younger, turning 39 this summer.

So as you hear news stories, read blogs or are lucky enough to take in the action in Foxboro, take a step back. Remember that Brady may be drinking from a fountain of youth, but he will eventually hang up the cleats; we’re fortunate we get to see the master at work in the dog days of summer before that four-game suspension sets in.
