What makes him promising: Remember at the beginning of last season when everyone and their mother was scared about the strength of the interior offensive line? Well, Andrews stepped in while Bryan Stork was on the PUP list and played like a seasoned veteran, pushing Stork for snaps even when the Super Bowl XLIX starter returned. Andrews can also play guard.

Training camp competition: Andrews and Stork will battle day in and day out for the starting center job. Andrews must also keep an eye on rookie Thuney, who also can play both guard and center.

2016 expectations: Since the race is neck-and-neck right now, let’s say that Andrews will be expected to start eight regular season games with Stork starting the other eight. It’s just too close to call at this point. Either way, Andrews will be expected to patch in at guard if and when injuries strike.

Optimistic 2016 forecast: Andrews wins the starting center job in training camp and hangs onto that role, emerging as a top-ten center in the NFL by Thanksgiving.
