7. Tre’ Jackson

What makes him promising: You may remember that Fox Sports named Jackson the No. 4 overall offensive guard in the 2015 NFL Draft. Jackson certainly didn’t stray too far from that ranking, putting forth a performance in 2015 that was as good as most rookie offensive linemen. He started nine of 13 games and cracked the three-man rotation at guard.

Training camp competition: The introduction of veteran Jonathan Cooper and rookies Joe Thuney and Ted Karras will make the guard battle one to watch this summer. However, Jackson doesn’t have much to worry about; he will focus on retaining his spot in the three-man rotation with Shaq Mason and Josh Kline.

2016 expectations: Jackson will be expected to hold off the influx of new guard talent and record double-digit starts.

Optimistic 2016 forecast: Jackson starts all 16 games and rises into the guard elite of the NFL.
