Michael Lombardi moving on from front-office role with Patriots

"After two seasons serving as an assistant to the New England Patriots’ coaching staff, longtime NFL front-office executive Michael Lombardi is moving on from the role, according to sources.Lombardi, who had joined the Patriots after serving as Cleveland Brownsgeneral manager in 2013, also served as an analyst with the NFL Network and NFL.com from 2008 to 2012 and could be considering a return to the media where his longtime friend, Bill Simmons, is starting a new venture at HBO, sources said."

Report: New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft an investor in bid to buy UFC

"The Kraft Group, which owns the New England Patriots, is an investor in a bid to buy the UFC,according to a report from ESPN’s Darren Rovell.Patriots owner Robert Kraft has reportedly agreed to contribute to the WME-IMG bid. Per Rovell, WME-IMG has been asking investors to “to chip in $25 million to $50 million.”A Kraft Group spokesman declined comment for ESPN’s story."
