Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘The Patriot Way’, your number one source to New England Patriots news and analysis from around the web.

Who Were the New England Patriots Minicamp Stars

Erik Frenz-Bleacher Report

"A friend once told me “minicamp stock is like tracking Greece’s fourth-quarter gross domestic product.” (Spoiler alert: Greece’s GDP has fallen precipitously since 2008). So although several New England Patriots players may have seen an uptick in their stock, let’s not go putting anyone in the Hall of Fame yet—in the words of Bill Parcells."

Patriots have arguably their best set of pass-catching running backs

Mike Reiss-ESPN Boston

"Ten thoughts on the New England Patriots after watching five spring practices over the past three weeks:1. Keep tabs on running backs. The team has arguably its best stable of pass-catching backs in recent memory, but when it comes to the more traditional rushers there is a bit of a void. The return of LeGarrette Blount to full health could help, but this seems like an area where pro personnel director Dave Ziegler will be keeping a close eye on depth charts around the league to see if anything presents itself. Random thought: Would a team like the Titans, who drafted Derrick Henry in the second round and traded for DeMarco Murray, be willing to part ways with 2014 second-round pick Bishop Sankey?"

New England Patriots roster breakdown: #31 CB Jonathan Jones

Bernd Buchmasser-Pats Pulpit

"Earlier this week, minicamp started and minicamp ended. This means that the mandatory phase of the New England Patriots’ offseason workouts is over as well – at least until training camp starts in late July. Until then, we have re-entered the quiet parts of the NFL calendar. However, while the football world seemingly turns slower these days it does not stop. After all, by late August, each team has to start making its roster cuts. Until then, players have to secure their spots on the team; they need to do their jobs (well) or someone else will."

"Over the course of the next few weeks, we will take a look at the men fighting for those spots on the 2016 New England Patriots. Today, we’ll take a look at cornerback Jonathan Jones."
