Chris Long Patriots

24. Chris Long – As an infant alongside his father, Long appeared in a 1980s anti-underage drinking ad for United Way. Little did the audience know at the time that the little tyke would go on to have an illustrious career himself and eventually end up with the Patriots.

23. Joe Thuney – The versatile offensive lineman (he played all five spots in college) has basketball roots; standing at 6-foot-5, Thuney led the Greater Catholic League in rebounding as a high school junior. Thuney still moves well for a big man.

22. Christian Yount – Yount was selected to the 2009 Playboy Preseason All-American team entering his sophomore year at UCLA. But now that incumbent long snapper Joe Cardona has received clearance from the Navy to play football in 2016, Yount’s future in New England is cloudy.

21. Steven Scheu – During his junior year at Vanderbilt in 2014, Scheu led all SEC tight ends with 39 receptions. However, Scheu’s chances of making the practice squad, let alone the final roster, are extremely slim.
