New England Patriots roster: 10 best names
5. Terrance Knighton
Knighton makes this list for a few reasons. While his first name isn’t all that special, the last name of “Knighton” sounds like the Patriots signed a defensive tackle from Camelot this offseason. And of course, the nickname of “Pot Roast” is pretty great for a 350-pound slab of beef on the interior of the defensive line.
What release of Dominique Easley means for Terrance Knighton
Knighton joins a burgeoning defensive tackle group currently led by sophomore pro Malcom Brown and Patriots veteran Alan Branch. The former Jacksonville Jaguars, Denver Broncos and Washington Redskins run stopper will be contending with the likes of Markus Kuhn, Joe Vellano, Anthony Johnson and Vincent Valentine for roster rights and playing time.
How did Terrance Knighton react to being signed by the Patriots?
Speaking of Valentine…
