6. Dont’a Hightower
Again, you don’t see the first name “Dont’a” usually. It’s a unique use of an apostrophe, that’s for sure. And then the last name of “Hightower” is pretty great too because of the visual it creates of a lofty tower. Just ask any running back that plays the Patriots, Hightower is a difficult object to get around
The Luke Kuechly of the AFC, Hightower is an extremely vital fixture of the Patriots’ defense. He is the brains and communication center, the beef and bronze and the life and fire of the defensive unit. Simply put, Hightower is the Tedy Bruschi of his generation, and not just because he wears No. 54.
A run at Defensive Player of the Year in 2016 for Hightower is not out of the question.
