15. Logan Ryan

In his fourth season, Ryan emerged as a sure-fire No. 2 corner for the Patriots, impressing even in tough matchups against DeAndre Hopkins and Demaryius Thomas. Ryan, Butler and the rookie Jones are the three guaranteed roster makes at acorner.

14. Rob Ninkovich

Quite possibly the most durable member of the Patriots’ 90-man roster, Ninkovich has befriended fellow 30-something pass rusher Long and is showing the former Rams defensive end who it all works in New England.

13. Stephen Gostkowski

Yes, Gostkowski’s uncharacteristic extra-point miss in the AFC Championship Game messed with the Patriots’ mojo, but the fact remains that he is a top-five kicker in the NFL. Just like the case at punter with Allen, the absence of an undrafted kicker signing means Gostkowski is more than a lock to make the roster.

12. Bryan Stork

The poster boy of the Patriots’ offensive line’s improvement over the course of the 2014 season, Stork worked through injuries in 2015 and watched as Andrews started at center for the first six weeks of the year. Nonetheless, he is a roster lock because of his experience and proven results in the trenches.

11. LeGarrette Blount

The Patriots simply aren’t going to cut Blount after they re-signed him to a one-year deal over the offseason.
