8. RB Dion Lewis

Yes, he is coming off a major knee injury, but I am confident he will come back better than ever in 2016. Lewis went down in week 9 last year against the Redskins, which will give him plenty of time to recover in time for the season opener this year. When he was healthy last year, he was one of, if not the most electric players in the NFL. His elusiveness and ability to juke five defenders out of their shoes was Barry Sanders-like, as his presence in both the running game and passing game elevated this offense from great to unstoppable.

In seven games played in 2015, Lewis averaged nearly five yards a carry, and caught 36 balls for 388 yards and four total touchdowns. Kevin Faulk, Danny Woodhead and Shane Vereen were all great third down backs for the Patriots, but Lewis is a whole different kind of talented, and if he can stay healthy, that could be the difference between an AFC Championship loss or a Super Bowl win.
