5. Cre’Von LeBlanc

Although LeBlanc is the biggest of the four rookie corners at 5-foot-11, 195 pounds, the Florida Atlantic product faces the toughest odds of making the final roster. What plagues LeBlanc the most is his questionable speed, as evidenced by his lackluster 4.65-second time in the 40-yard dash at the combine, a performance which destroyed his chances of being drafted.

No doubt, LeBlanc is a very talented player. He notched four picks, 11 passes defended and 43 tackles as a senior, and he garnered a reputation for hard hitting in college as well. But LeBlanc doesn’t bring much to the table as a special teamer, and that’s going to hinder him greatly in New England.

He does have pretty awesome dreadlocks though. It would be cool to see those flowing over a Patriots uniform.
