26. Nevada – Chris Barker

Barker has been on the Patriots’ practice squad for some time now, but don’t expect him to make the team in 2016 with all the other offensive linemen he’s competing against.

25. North Carolina – Jonathan Cooper

Cooper will look to reset his pro career in New England after coming over from Arizona in the Chandler Jones trade. He’s got the potential.

24. North Carolina State – Joe Thuney, Markus Kuhn, Jacoby Brissett

Thuney is a classic Patriots’ offensive line selection because he offers versatility having played at all five positions in college. Kuhn is a former member of the New York Giants who bolsters depth at defensive tackle. Brissett could very well be the quarterback of the future depending on how the Garoppolo situation shakes out in the coming months and years.

23. North Dakota State – Ramon Humber

Before he was released, Humber was the longest-tenured defensive player on the New Orleans Saints. In New England, Humber will look to fend off rookies Grugier-Hill, Roberts and Johnson and corrall a role on special teams.

22. Ohio State – Nate Ebner

Besides Brady, Ebner is the only sixth round pick in the Bill Belichick era to hang around and earn a regular role on the team. He’s spent the offseason trying out for the U.S. Rugby team.
