Here are the 61 colleges represented on the Patriots roster
34. Michigan – Tom Brady, Alan Branch
Michigan alums can rest easy knowing that their alma mater produced the best quarterback ever. Journeyman Branch has settled down into New England and gotten comfortable on the interior of the defensive line, providing a needed veteran presence for Malcom Brown.
33. Michigan State – Keshawn Martin
Martin earned the respect of Patriots fans by filling-in decently enough for injured slot receivers Edelman and Amendola last season. He had a nice play in Week 3 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, adjusting his route and getting open for a scrambling Brady, which led to a touchdown.
32. Minnesota – Brock Vereen, Cedric Thompson
Two Minnesota products that are stashed away on the bottom of the Patriots’ secondary ranks. And yes, that is Shae Vereen’s brother.
31. Mississippi – C.J. Johnson, Woodrow Hamilton, Brandon Bolden
Johnson and Hamilton are both 2016 undrafted signings looking to pull a Malcolm Butler this summer. Bolden is one of the most valuable players on the roster considering his special teams value and ability as a running back in spot duty.
