9. Texas A&M – Martellus Bennett

If you’re ever bored sitting in class or at work or wherever you get bored, pass the time by visualizing Gronk and Bennett on the field together at the same time.

8. Texas Tech – Danny Amendola, LaAdrian Waddle

One of the most selfless players in the league, Amendola took a $4.4 million pay cut to remain with the Patriots. As for Waddle, well, he hasn’t been the same since an ACL injury sustained during his days with the Detroit Lions and it remains to be seen whether or not he’s got productive days left in the tank.

7. Tiffin University – Nate Washington

Journeyman and longtime pro Washington will look to spend the twilight of his playing days catching passes from Tom Brady. Signed to what is clearly a roster bubble contract, Washington will have to navigate through a slew of returning Patriots and offseason additions to make the team as a 32-year-old veteran.

6. UCLA – Matthew Slater, Christrian Yount

The best special teamer of this decade of Patriots teams, Slater will probably be in New England until he retires. Meanwhile, Yount was signed in the event that Cardona had to depart for naval duty, but since that doesn’t appear to be happening, he will almost certainly get the chop in training camp. After all, he was out of football for all of last season.
