3. Week 1 @ Arizona Cardinals

NBC couldn’t have asked for a better “Football Night in America” season opener. This game will pit two quarterbacks in their late thirties against each other, but age hasn’t been an issue for Brady or Carson Palmer, as both signal-callers contended for MVP last season.

Another storyline for this game will of course revolve around Chandler Jones and Jonathan Cooper. One of the more surprising moves of the offseason, the trading of Jones and Cooper altered the balance of power in the NFL to some degree, and it will be interesting to see which player has a better game.

Honestly, there’s a good chance the Patriots will have some trouble in this game. The Cardinals are very hard to beat at home, and if Jones catches fire against his former teammates, Brady could be in for a long night.
