6 best games on Patriots’ 2016 schedule
4. Week 15 @ Denver Broncos
No doubt, this game will be chock-full of playoff implications judging by how late in the regular season it will be taking place. Because the Patriots and Broncos are always at the top of the AFC this time of year, the winner will likely have an inside track on the No. 1 seed. After the Patriots botched earning home field advantage in 2015, we know just how important it is to lock-up the No. 1 seed.
Expectations of Patriots third-year players
From Brady’s point of view, this game will either help to settle demons of playing (and losing) in Denver, or it will only worsen them. Brady possesses an 0-3 postseason record when playing in the Mile High City, and his 2-4 regular season record isn’t much better.
Of course, it’s unclear what the Broncos will look like in 2016. Their quarterback situation needs to be settled before this game gets hyped up too much.
