This choice here is obvious.

With the offseason the Patriots just had, it would be hard to not project them at the top of the AFC, if not the top of the NFL.

Last season, the Patriots started off with the league’s best offense, but injuries eventually took it’s toll and ended their season prematurely as they were overwhelmed by the Broncos defense in the playoffs.

Patriots: Comparing 2007 and 2016 offseasons

Similar to in the past, the Patriots took a loss to Peyton Manning personally. Here’s some of the transactions thats took place over the past month:

Traded DE Chandler Jones for OL Jonathan Cooper and a 2nd round pick

Signed DE Chris Long

Traded a fourth-round pick for TE Martellus Bennett

Signed WR Chris Hogan

Signed RB Donald Brown

Signed WR Nate Washington

Signed DL Terrance Knighton

Could it be a stretch to say this could be the best team overall since 2007?

We’ll just have to wait and see.
