2. The sixth round

I know, I know. There’s nothing all that exciting about the sixth round. No one freaks out if they forget to DVR the sixth round. But one reason why Patriots fans should be excited for the 2016 NFL Draft is the sixth round, it’s because the Patriots have not one, not two, not three, but four selections to play with.

Reordering CB depth chart after E.J. Biggers signing

One of the best evaluators of late round talent in NFL draft history, Belichick will make the most of this round. The Patriots have no shortage of choices regarding the usage of this asset; they may trade away one or two of these selections, or they may just hang onto them and milk the sixth round for all its worth.

And if you don’t think there is any good players to come out of the sixth round, just look at 2012 sixth rounder Nate Ebner (he of Rugby acclaim).
